Ah. Sorry, misunderstood the question. There are a few programs out there that can help with that. If you can scan to file from the scanner itself though, it is easier. You can set up a network folder for people to scan to, then they can just scan to that folder and go back to their desk and get the file.
You would have to set up the scanner to scan to that folder though.

I don't see how it is any different from other printers. You either need to hook it up using a ethernet cord to the network, or make it a shared printer on the computer that it is connected to.
