COMPEYE simplex 1200m Scanner driver for XP

I use a Compeye SIMPLEX 1200m scanner very well using Windows 98 which I purchased from PC World some 12+ months ago and included the COMPEYE CD 2.34 for W95/98/NT.

I am now about to put Windows XP on my PC.
 
Does anyone know where I can definetly get a driver (or internet link to one) for this scanner to be able to use with Windows XP ?

I've tried but can only find a W98 version at:

you might be able to use the bog standard scan driver in win xp.
or look at the back cover of ur cd cover for the manufactures site and then go to support
normally putting the name of ur scanner into a search engine like yahoo or something will find you a site where you can download a driver

Thanks, have spent many hours (me & others) looking for the Compeye SIMPLEX 1200m driver for XP, but there isn't one known about (yet!). The manufactures site doesn't help either & their contact e-mail/telephone details bounce. I'm told that the scanner was a one off that the UK PC World sold & they haven't seen again.
(It was actually longer ago than I thought ~ 2½years old).
I still live in hope !!

As I'm going to XP soon after the recent problems with linking 2 PC to BB (silver ntl modem). Anyone found a driver for this Compeye SIMPLEX 1200m yet?

The bog standard scanner driver worked with Windows XP funnily enough...no worries !
