UMAX astra 2100u scanner drivers

my friend has the above scanner and asked me to download the drivers.  At first i installed the drivers about 9mb of files that I downloaded for this scanner but the programs do not seem to work,  SO now ive downloaded off driver guide .com 29.1mb file which says it is for XP pro and this scanner, does anyone know if i now have the right file? or can point me in the right direction
