Yes, the preview works, i.e. it shows the image on the screen, but I am not then able to save the previewed image. I have to do a new "Scan," then somehow it is supposed to save it to the Clip Organizer, but it isn't.

Browse All TopicsI recently upgraded a user from Office 2003 to Office 2007 on XP. This means that the user must now use the Microsoft Clip Organizer to get images from the Canon 2270 scanner.
Everything appears to work, except that after the scan, no image appears in the clip organizer. I know the program is communicating with the scanner because I can do a preview and the image shows up on the screen. Perhaps ScanGear is not talking with Clip Organizer?
I have SP2 installed for Office 2007, and I uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded a new copy, and installed the Network ScanGear software, but no change.

All I can find is this: (we do a lot of scanning... but use different software)
From http://printmail.oregonsta
Preview button
Clicking this button pre-scans the original, and a preview image appears in the Preview
Area. After changing the scan settings, click this button once again to display a preview
image scanned under the new settings.
During scanning, the Preview button becomes as a Cancel button. If you interrupt the
scanning with the Cancel button, the part of the image already scanned appears in the
Preview Area.
This button is not available when scanning with the feeder, or when the Auto is selected
for Original Size.

I'm not familiar with the software, but there's usually a checkbox somewhere that says something like "Show Preview" or "Preview Image".....
