Paperport cannot access network connected scanner. Scanner works fine with control center SW.

Brother MFC7820N is connected on network, and works fine via the control center software, and is accessible as a network printer. Computer is running XP Pro with SP2. The Paperport software shows both the TWAIN, and WIA driver available. Selecting either one does not work; the scan button stays grayed out. I have tried reinstalling both the Paperport software and the Brother software, but still have the same problem.  Using the Paperport wizard and testing the scanner connection, it says it is not connected. I still have the same problem with the firewall (Zonealarm) turned off, so I don't think it is a firewall issue. The Paperport 9 software that comes with the Brother unit works fine. I tried the solution to a similar problem which was to delete the twain drivers looking for a conflict. This did not resolve the issue either. Any idea how to make it work with Paperport 11?Start Free Trial
