i dont have the specific drivers with me
it says the camera is not detected, when i checked my device manager it shows a new hardware is detected and it showed under other devices > Camera.
i tried installing drivers downloading from internet, but it is not working, can you please help me to get the right drivers and get it installed properly.

What about the bottom of the camera? The box should show it. for example these all have specific names

There should be some sort of number on the camera itself, especially on the box.
Try this driver. Uninstall old software that you previously had on the system then install this. Not sure if it's correct or not because the model number doesn't show up on their list.

If you go into Device Manager (to do this right-click My Computer, select Manage, select Device Manager), do you see any devices that have a yellow exclamation mark, or devices that are listed as Unknown? If so, can you right-click on them, select Properties, and then Details, and post the Device Instance Id. Also, did you have a different camera installed before? Did you uninstall it before you tried to install the QuickCam?
