dvr software connection issue to remote camera

Hi,
I have used the DVR software to connect to my security cameras in Europe.
It worked fine up until someone might have changed some settings in my service.msc
files. My family in europe can connect with the IP and see all 8 cameras. Only when I connect
it fails. I used to use the website at www.remocam.net and the one on my PC that I installed. I use windows xp pro by the way. I also pinged the same IP from three different PCs but no luck. Also ran the program off three differetn pcs and no luck. In europe they have no problems. I had no problems here at home of the one PC that I used to use. Please help
