Stolen Laptop - Command Line Webcam Capture possible?
Hi Team,
A client of mine has had a laptop stolen (actually a 2710p HP Tablet). The laptop is still being used. I know this because by chance I had only days earlier installed a remote monitoring and maintenance app (www.Naverisk.com), and I can see when the machine is connected to the Internet. I have remote command prompt access to the machine when it is online. Remote control is possible, but I don't want to use it for fear of being spotted. Powershell is not installed.
I would quite like to try and capture some still images from the built in webcam. I've had a hunt around for command line webcam image capturing apps (which I had hoped to pair up with a basic FTP script), but I have not having any luck finding a solution that does not need installing via GUI.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm a little bit more keen than normal to help this customer, as they have been broken into 3 times in a fortnight and would like some blood!
