Error 80070003: Can not start Graph while capturing video thro' my webcam

Hi !
I have an HCL leaptop  having built-in webcam & with Genuine Vista Home premium.
The problem is it has a software named video view. when I strat that software to view my web cam, i am able to view my webcam but unfortunately when I want to capture any video, it says
"Error 80070003: Can not start Graph"
secondly i can't see the webcam in My computer under the drives. otherwise i could take picture or capture using windows' built-in facility.
How do I solve this ?
