The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Video Recording Software, Process Monitoring

Hello,

I have a need to record a 1 to 3 minute video clip from 3 cameras simultaneously to be used for quality control. The 3 cameras will all be filming the same event just from 3 different angles. I would like to know if anyone can tell me the best way to accomplish this. I have the following criteria:
All control of recording and cameras needs to be handled from a single workstation, not necessarily near the cameras
Operator needs to be able to initiate recording on all 3 cameras at the same time
Then stop all 3 cameras at the same time
The video clips will need to be stored in the same folder
The 3 video streams should be able to be viewed together, like in a 4x4 split window setup.
I am open to using any type of cameras, be it regular video cameras or IP surveillance cameras as long as the quality of the video is high and being recorded at 30 frames per second.
The price of this system is not very important, meaning we can spend up to 10k to get this all done. Less cost would be fine but I need it to be a professional setup that is foremost dependable and secondly fairly easy to use.

I am very interested to hear opinions on how to accomplish this. Please feel free to bounce some ideas around if there is no clear cut answer to this.

Thanks,

Brian
