I did not gt an answer for the difference b/n n1 and n2 , I also buy from ebay since its cheaper and new as well , when U say laptop product no , U mean the screen product no or the actual laptop ?
Actual laptop part number is what you should use.  Just click the second link I provided, it's all there.

In terms of the screen part numbers, be careful.  The number on the screen is the OEM number (e.g. your screen is made by LG), but there can be other OEM providers that HP uses.  Always reference the official HP part number of the screen to ensure compatibility.  n2 and n1 are designations used by LG for their products, that information is not on the HP official list.

When in doubt and if you will buy according to the LG part number, get EXACTLY the same one (I guess in your case it is n2?) to ensure compatibility.

Sorry to be a pain , so can U explain OEM what it means ? and should I buy from ebay or not ?
OEM = original equipment manufacturer.  HP, for example, puts together laptops from parts made from a number of manufacturers.  Your screen is made by LG/Philips in China, your harddisk may be made by someone else, the processors by another OEM, etc.

So, even though your laptop is labelled as an HP product, the parts inside of it can be made by a big number of different manufacturers.

Buying from ebay or someplace else doesn't really make a difference, as long as the part numbers match.  If you want a 100% guarantee that what you buy will fit your laptop, it's best to source the part from HP.  Buying from ebay or someplace else is safe, just be sure to use either the HP part number from the Part Surfer link I provided, or get the exact same LG part number that  you listed as being on the back of your screen.  If it matches completely, you should be pretty safe in doing that.

I clicked on the link and I ticked the screen there where two otiopns and when I went to buy I gt the message the item no bla bla is not ordable in red colour !!!!!! so how an earth I am going to order it .?
Some parts may be unavailable to order (out of stock or no longer produced/supported by HP) or orderable only through an HP authorised service centre.  But, you said yourself, that you had found it on ebay or other places.

I had found few not one on ebay , the problems I am faced with the fact that sometimes they say n1 or n2 and technical terms I am not familiar with , but I found one , it only say its for HP G70 , & I do not want to order the wring one if U know what I mean . I am going to accept ur answer for sure , but could U elaborate on my last comment pls ,thks
There are two options for your particular laptop - one is a standard display, the other is the one with the BrightView technology.  I logged in to HPs partner site and looked through the parts lists, they only provide their own part numbers (same as on the public access parts lists I gave links to), so I cannot comment on the LG part number (LG is the one who puts the n1 and n2 on their part number, not HP).

I would guess, and it's only a guess, that n1 and n1 refer to whether the screen is "normal" or the BrightView version, but which is which I don't know.  Since your current screen LG part number that you listed in your question is n2, I would suggest getting the exact same one.
