I have problem installing HP psc 2110 print driver to my Home XP professional Dell computer USB port.  I intalled HP psc 2110 all-in-one driver.  But, I can't add that printer through Control Panel --> Printers and Faxes -->  Add Printer.  I also turn the printer off and on and then see the PC can not find the new printer.  Please help.  Thanks.

I performed all the steps above.  When install the drivers, the PC asks me to restart after install and so I restarted.  After restart, nothing happens.  I was hoping the PC to ask me to plugin the printer.  But, nothing happens.  What do you mean during setup?  Doesn't look like the PC asks me to setup.  Thanks.
>> I was hoping the PC to ask me to plugin the printer.  But, nothing happens
Did u plugin the pritner and turned it on to check if it is recognised or not now ??

>> What do you mean during setup?
When i installed this printer on XP,,,, after installing drivers and software, setup asked to plugin the printer and turned it on..... and when i did this,,,, it was recognised by XP and no restart was performed ??
Okay, here is what's happening.  THE PRINTER AND PC ARE DISCONNECTED DURING INSTALL.
1.  I install the All-in-one driver, and first time it asks me to uninstall and so I uninstall.
2.  Then reboot the PC and then I reinstall the All-in-one driver for real reinstall.
3.  During the intall, a dialog box pops up and says "Set Up You Device Now" and says "Device detected".   "Waiting for device setup to finish.  This make take several minutes..."

So I waiting a few minutes, but it comes back Device setup has failed to complete and I have to click Next to exit.

I tried a few times and keep seeing the above problem.  I INCREASE TO 260 POINTS NOW.  HOW TO FIX???  THANKS.
More info:  I took out the HP psc2110 all-in-one Installation and click setup.  It says "Your system dones' meet one or more requirements neeted to install this device.   USB"    .  But, this PC has USB  and it installed the Printer Driver successfully before.  After I uninstalled printer driver, now I cannot reinstall it.  Please help.
It is working now.  The following is what I figured out:
1.  Use the installation CD that I got when purchased  the Printer, which is version one HP PSC 2110 all-in-on.
2.  Click the setup in the CD.  It says "Your system dones' meet one or more requirements neeted to install this device.   USB"    .  So, go to My Computer and enforce No Requirement check for CD Rom. and click the setup again
3.  Go through the installtion process.
4.  Finally plug in the Printer via USB and the computer will find new device and add a printer.

I spent about 8 hours on this, but a relief when it is working.
okkkkkkk so that step was required..... :)
happy u have solved the problem,,,,, now u can get a refund for this question as u have solved the problem urself =)

!! Good Luck !!
