Hardware detection!

The operation system(Windows 2000 Pro) on my PC can't detect my video card.
I don't know my video card manufacturer. How can I know the manufacturer and the model of my video card. Actually, I want to install a driver for it, but I dont know any thing about it. Are there any utilities detect hardware on PC other than the OS?
Please help!
