I am attempting to move a motherboard from one computer case to another. &nbsp;The power supply in the new case has a 24 pin connector. &nbsp;The motherboard has a 20 pin connector. &nbsp;<br />

I asked the case manufacturer what to do and they told me just to plug in the 24 pin connector into the 20 pin slot, leaving the 4 extra pins hanging off of the end of the connector. &nbsp;Does that sound right?
