I have a Dell Dimension XPS T600 running XP Pro. &nbsp;The DVD ROM and CD RW drives are no longer recognized. &nbsp;They had been working fine. &nbsp;The failure to recognize both occured at the same time. &nbsp;Everything else is working fine. &nbsp;I have replaced the IDE cable. &nbsp;I have tried to reinstall the drives but nothing seems to work. &nbsp;The computer is otherwise fine. &nbsp;Everything else works perfectly. &nbsp;I have religiously installed all recommended Windows updates. &nbsp;My son is planning on using the machine in his business and needs these to work.
