The Solution Rating System

IDENTIFYING MY MOTHERBOARD

I have a Compaq Presario 2500 with the following specs:
Pentium 4
2.80 GHz Processor
512 MB RAM
Radeon IGP 345M Video Card
Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2


How do I identify what kind of motherboard I have?  I ran a DXDIAG, but there does not seem to be any mention of a motherboard.  I've seen this question, but no answers I've found seem to help.

Here's my problem:  I've installed the new Half-Life2 game on my laptop, but when I try to start the game, I get an error message that says my video card is not supported.  I know that I meet all of the minumun requirements, and I've updated my video card drivers and installed directx 9c.  I was thinking maybe I need to update my motherboard drivers.  Or is that even an option....?

Thanks a million for any help on this topic.
