On ONE server?  That's not advisable.  Otherwise, all three can.  It really depends what you want your network to do.
ok , may i hav articles or links with information about all three , i need to make an evaluation
Read here :

http://people.freebsd.org/~murray/bsd_flier.html

A quote from that says : FreeBSD is the system of choice for high performance network applications. FreeBSD will outperform other systems when running on equivalent hardware. The largest and busiest public server on the Internet, at ftp.freesoftware.com, uses FreeBSD to serve more than 1.2TB/day of downloads. FreeBSD is used by Yahoo!, Qwest and many others as their main server OS because of its ability to handle heavy network traffic with high performance and rock solid reliability.

Personally i have been a huge Free-BSD fan and it runs like a charm. If you are looking for a huge base of users then this might be ur choice to use. The article is a little outdated and is not 100% accurate but quite right on most points. Maybe the performance hs gone up and down on a few points but most of them hold nicely.

Windows 2003 is also  great NOS and is quite robust in its approach.

Here is just basic conclusions on the OS choosing:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,6615,00.asp

To choose right OS for 10,000 users you have to find out first: what applications will be running on the server ?
Answer to this question and this wiil narrow your search ... All 3 OS can handle 10,000 users but definitely not on one machine as leew told you.
Probably some cluster or blade server - but first, define your goals!
Mystical Dan,

Never quote from the source!  Who would dare say "our product isn't as good as others, but it works OK"?  Not discounting freebsd, but you would really want third party reviews and analysis.
I am totally agree with leew! Same with other companies - MS will never said they have any problems or will suggest to use other vendor!
And I do concur with Leo -

Before you can choose you need to know what your doing.  Databases?  Everyday office stuff?  data analysis?  And there's no law that says you can use more than one!  At my last major position, we used 5 Linux compute clusters, a couple 12 CPU Sun boxes with Solaris, Several other Sun systems running Solaris.  6 Mac OS X Servers, and of course 35 Windows servers doing everything from databases to network monitoring to file and print serving.  Pick the one that's appropriate for the task.  Not one FOR EVERYTHING!
Well he wud need something that supports clustering easily for one. 10000 users mens clustering is important. The kernel or base system has to be relible and performance oriented. Shud have  a good base security level and resoruce friendly. I think Windows might not really suit the bill. nythinbg thats *nix based wud be my preference. Solaris is gret and it hs a solid backing also. BSD is preferable only for its sturdiness aand reliability as also Linux.

I did not quote the source what i meant to point out was the fact that Yahoo and other large ISP's use Free BSD on a regular basis for mainframe operations.

I guess the main thing here wud be the askers applications that he wants to run, a Web Server, a DB server, mail server etc.

If you are looking for a terminal server type solution take a look at...

Most aspects of the question have been covered. If the asker comes up for any extra info will be glad to provide the same.
