Athlon XP and PCI Express
Hi
This is my current pc configuration:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 333FSB
Abit KD7 Mainboard
Radeon 9600XT
Kingmax 512Mb DDR Ram
I was hoping to upgrade my graphics to PCI Express, but it seems that Athlon XP will have no PCI Express support.

My question: Is there currently a mainboard with PCI Express that supports my cpu?

I need mainboard model or provided link so that i can evaluate. I want to buy a mainboard that supports both Athlon XP and PCI Express. My budget is limited, therefore i don't want to buy new processor.
i think just the nforce4 chipset supports AMD and PCI Express

Yeah, I agree, if ur gonna go for an upgrade, u may as well go all the way, get a 939 mobo, the Asus A8V Deluxe and Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe are my two favorites, and both are very reasonably priced, plus the A8N has SLI if u ever have the cash to make use of it. Pair those mobos with a cheap AMD64 3000+ or 3200+, and you'll be ready for future upgrades.

Cool! Thanks for all the input. I will start saving then, maybe sell the old mainboard and cpu.
