Hi Experts,<br />
I would like to try to block the Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger in my Cisco 2621 Router. The IOS we are currently using is 12.1(5) with IDS/FW/IPSec Feature. <br />
I had blocked the port 5050,5010 and 1863 and open the http,smtp,ftp,telnet ports. What i thought was, blocking the Yahoo Authentication Ports 5050,5010,1863 will block the usage of Messenger, but it is not doing that.<br />

Blocking Yahoo and MSN Messenger in CISCO 2621 Router

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet.
