thermal sensort #1 hp proliant dl 320

we have a hp proliant dl 320, and an overheating problem on thermal sensor #1. does anyone know what sensor #1 stands for? the processor?

Not sure but chances are it is the CPU.

Have you contacted HP ?

Have you checked out the Maint and Service manual fr the ds 320 ?

yes i've just contacted hp, it's an indicator on the mother board. the problem could be that the fans are not working correctly or that the temperature of the room is too high. but maybe there's no problem at all and it's just a one time occurance. their advice is to monitor the server and when it happens again to contact them again
