Netware 6.5 SP2 boot freezes when loading HTTPSTK.NLM and BTCPCOM.NLM
I am running Netware 6.5 SP2, for various reasons (maintenance, updates, power outages, etc) we need to reboot the server. Every time I do this the boot process will hang when it is loading HTTPSTK.NLM and BTCPCOM.NLM. However, I have found if I put the server into maintenance mode (F8) at the beginning of loading, I can step through the loading of all the pieces one at a time and eventually end up with the server running with no issues. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas on how I can get the server to come back up on its own without me having to physically step through the loading of all the pieces?

Secondly, NetWare 6.5 SP2 was very buggy in comparison to later SP's, so it's hard to say why it does that for you, but one possibility is how you're starting up. Are you doing a "restart server" or a "reset system" or a "down" followed by "startup" or a "down" followed by a power-reset?
Regardless, I can't help thinking you'd probably have more joy if you get your support-pack level closer to current...
