Dell 2950, Broadcom, Intel NIC Teaming

I have jsut purchased a bunch of Dell 2950's with on-board Broadcom NetExtreme II NICs and PCI Intel1000 NICs.  I am used to the HP NIC teaming software, so when I attempted to bond the NICs with the Broadcom (BASP), I ran into trouble.  I cannot connect them to the network.  I obviously do not want to bond the two on-board NICs, so how can I team an on-board broadcom and a PCI Intel card that will attach to the network.   P.S.  I cannot uninstall the software (BASP) as it will not...it just hangs up.

Additional notes on BASB if you are using VMWARE.

If you done a little bit of looking, you will have seen that BASB does not work at all well with VMWARE Server. If you have an Intel NIC that supports ANS Teaming, it will also support adding Broadcom NICs via the MVT (Multi-Vendor Teaming)

I strongly suggest once you add the Broadcom NIC to the TEAM you reboot the server. I have seen many situations that the server did not respond well after you hot added the Broadcom to the TEAM, but after the reboot it worked just fine (This is also noted in the Intel Docs and HELP file).

I don't know WIGO with 3COM/Broadcom, but the BASB teaming looks like a work in progress to me, lot of issues have been noted with them in many different environments. (this includes BASB 3.0)

Regards.
