I'm not sure it is possible to, nor do I feel it is an option to remove the local servers administrator profile. Any other options?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a Windows 2003 server that has the same issue where I get the message: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file" anytime I try to run an install of a new program.
I have already uninstalled the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration
Rebooted Multiple Times
Added the Enhanced Security Back, and Uninstalled it again.
Removed the local profiles and updated the domain admin groups by removing them and adding them back.
This doesn't even work when logged in as a local administrator on the machine without using RDP. Everywhere I read about this the issue has to do with the Enhanced Security component, but having removed it I don't know where else to turn. Please help me with any ideas you might have!

There is a problem with your profile. As I remember you should delete a file from your profile to get fixed.
If possible remove your profile (when logging by another user), re logon and try again.
Good Luck
