Reload software 507 on BB 8520: Unspecified error encountered [J:0x00000005]

When i tried to update my BB 8520 the update gut stuck for some reason so i pulled the usb wire, and the battery out, now i get error: 507 reload software when i turn the phone on. I tried to use Apploader to reinstall the OS but when i get to Loading Applications part: Loading module "net_rim_platformapps_resource_en_US.cod it freezes and produces error "A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again.
Unspecified error encountered [J:0x00000005]" preventing me from finishing.
I also tired JL_Cmder to wipe os & restore factory defaults but that didn't help either.

How do i get the OS to install properly?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, ensure you are using Desktop Manager 5.0.1 as it can detect corrupt firmware and will prompt you with an "Update" option that corrects this issue.  Also don't rule out an issue with the firmware that has been downloaded to your PC.  If you are already running Desktop Manager 5.0.1 try install it onto another PC and then download the latest firmware from your carrier (link below) and try the update again.

I had Desktop Manager 5.0 so i updated to 5.01 basically the same happens but his time when the software gets to loading application part it displays error: "Application loader could not connect to your device please ensure that your device is connected securely  to your computer and click retry".
I also tried this on another PC with no avail.

I purchased a new usb cable for my Black Berry and that's what solved the problem, i had a feeling that that might be the culprit, ironically the answer was in the error.

Thank you so much for your help, your a Genius.
