Storage: how to start H P p 2000 model
Hello,
I need to move a H P - P 2000 storage from one location to another.
So I will need to manually stop/start the storage.
For stopping process, I've found this:
Perform
a shut down before removing a controller module or powering down the system.
However, I cannot find anything about how to start the storage. Nothing is present in the documentation, and I've checked and my model doesn't have the physical stop/start button specified in manuals.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

To perform a shut down
1. In the Configuration View panel, right-click the local system and select Tools > Shut Down or Restart
Controller.
2. In the main panel, set the options:
• Select the Shut down operation.
• Select whether to restart the processor in controller A, B, or both.
3. Click Shut down now. A confirmation dialog appears.
4. Click Yes to continue; otherwise, click No. If you clicked Yes, a second confirmation dialog appears.
5. Click Yes to continue; otherwise, click No. If you clicked Yes, a message describes shutdown activity.
However, I cannot find anything about how to start the storage. Nothing is present in the documentation, and I've checked and my model doesn't have the physical stop/start button specified in manuals.

That's an image of HP D2700 Disk Enclosure, not of P2000 G3. The D2700 is used as an additional enclosure if you want more disks than you can get in the main unit. The pictures at the top of http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13551_div/13551_div.html are of the P2000 G3 itself and there's no power on/standby button on them.
Like I said it will start up as soon as you connect the power, takes about a minute to complete POST.

The confusion is perhaps understanding from your screenshot but that's due to page setup in Acrobat, the page break puts "HP P2000 G3 iSCSI MSA Dual Controller SFF Array System BK831B#0D1" at the top of your screenshot but really that ought to be on the page above.
