IBM DS3512 error "Host wide port is degraded"
I am getting an error."Host wide port is degraded" in the IBM DS3512 storage. It is connected to IBM blade center H using the SAS switch. the port connected to the SAN sas switch and the storage port showing orange color.

I would suspect the cable, a SAS wide port is made from bundling together several single lanes - there are 4 lanes in the cable and normally all 4 are bundled into a single wide port, sounds like you have one or more lanes missing. If you have two switches and dual domain I would reseat the cable both ends after checking (under MPIO, etc) that each host sees both connections.

I suspect one of the HBA adaper giving issue. I just disconnected this HBA and will observer one week.
