Cannot install server 2012 on intel raid, no drives showing

I am using the following supermicro 36 bay server: CSE-847E26-R1K28LPB

I have a raid-1 volume setup in the intel raid. Raid is selected under SATA in the bios. The volume shows in the bios. I'm using UEFI to get to the server 2012 install, but now drives show up. I've tried using the suggested drives as well.

This is very urgent.

You need to load the RAID controller's drivers for Windows to see the RAID volume.

Thanks, but I've done that.
If you set the drive mode to SATA instead of RAID - does it see the drives?
Plus according to your description you are trying to use the onboard fake RAID. I would avoid using it because these onboard RAIDs bring nothing than headaches. Better to install it on a single drive or use a dedicated hardware RAID controller.
the software raid built into the o/s is better than the fakeraid provided by Intel

It resolved the issue.
So in the end, loading the drivers - as I suggested in the first post - was the answer.  Given the limited information provided, I answered with the only valid answer that could have been given at the time.
