I'm doing a lot of research that requires a lot of searching.

I want to have a history of the references I've looked at, but everytime I issue a new search, firefox consideres the links from the new search to be new, even though I have allready looked at them. I want to find/build/adapt an extension or greesemonkey script so that every new search, all the reference numbers that I have recorded in an external text file (or whatever) get highlighted on the page so I know I've looked at them.

I've done some java, c++, VB basic programming in university and would not mind making my own program, but I am not sure what program, or how to develope it. Obviously it would most preferable if something was allready out there, but I've looked pretty hard. Start Free Trial
