IE7 does not load webpages, says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" or "The address is not valid "

I am unable to load web pages in Internet Explorer. I can get on the Internet in Mozilla Firefox and I can sign on to AOL Instant Messenger, so clearly I am on the Internet. When I open Internet Explorer, it says "IE cannot display the webpage." If I type in a webpage like "google.com", it changes the address in the address bar to http:/// (with 3 slashes) and displays "The address is not valid." I read a response somewhere on here that deleting something in a person's Hijackthis log fixed this problem. I have attached my log if anyone knows how to interpret them (I sure don't.)Start Free Trial
