Can't use Outlook Express or Mozilla

Funny thing has happened.

A pc usually uses Mozilla for web browsing and Outlook Express for email. We also had Norton Anti-virus installed. We uninstalled the norton and now we can't access web through mozilla and outlook express generates an error when we send/receive.

We can access internet ok through Internet explorer on the same machine.
