XP pro machines - .jpg opens up on all machines bar 1.   On one laptop I get an X in the browser. Wont open it

Ive tried changing file association from explorer to picture manager (I think it is) - same

Its def a good image (emailed to two other laptops and its fine).
 Happens on random images to this one laptop,
some pics open, some dont that are emailed from suppliers.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
