I know that I can just use any vector graphics image editor and then create each frame one at a time. But, I was wondering if there was a tool specifically built to make South Park-style animation.
For instance, the tool would allow you to specify a set of mouth shapes and then attach a set of words to say and a speed at which they are to be said and it would set the mouth shapes as appropriate for all following frames.
Playback could be started inside the tool at any point. Shortcuts for animation like walking would allow you to start walking in frame 123 and stop walking at another point in frame 275 and it would handle the appropriate walking motions in between.
etc.
Is there anything like that out there?
