Hoo to make ELITE Proxy Server ?

I have a remote server ( Dedicated with CentOS 4.3)
I want to setup this server as private proxy server that support SSL and completely anonymous.
I want it like a standard proxy, that user only need to add my server ip into their web browser.
Option -> Connection Setting -> Proxy.
I've try squid, but it show my server as Transparent Proxy, that mean not completely anonymous. Also when i use that proxy, it slow .... how to make the proxy server fast ?? It is depend on my server connection ??Start Free Trial
