Active Sync and SSL with iPhones

Asked by akanthos in Secure Socket Layer (SSL) & HTTPS, Microsoft IIS Web Server

Tags: Microsoft, Exchange, 2003 SP2

I am seeing conflicting info about using SSL for ActiveSync on a single (back end) Exchange server.  I do not use "Form based auth" so will it work with SSL?  I read the coresponding Microsoft articles and still do not understand.  It looks like the work around will not give you SSL.  Also, can I use a single certificate to cover OWA, and ActiveSync?  I have not messed with this stuff in a long time and I am under the gun to get it completed.  Thank you!Start Free Trial
