Thanks Corey, OK wecam32 seems to be the way to do it. Also I found an example where I can get a bidirectional 'press to talk' program called voiperized. So the video and voice issues soom to be sorted. The only thing that I need to set up seems to be the text. What I still need is for someone to be able to click on a button when viewing my web page and for a text sequence associated with that button to be channeled out of the serial port of my local computer to drive a servo motor. The camera is used to show where the antenna is pointing,
This is for an amateur radio application. What happens is that I have an antenna array that is aimed at a target which would typically be either the moon or a satellite. An amateur in say New York would select a targeted satellite by clicking on a button. This would send a text string out of the serial port to my antenna servo controler and transceiver setting up the appropriate mode of operation This would 'connect' him to the satellite as it passes over say cape town. This amateur then hits the press-to-talk and he then talks over the intenet to my computer outside Johannesburg, Up to the satellite, and back down to say another amateur in Capetown when both JHB and CPT are in the footprint.

Webcam32 has a pretty good product. But tilting might be a different story though and Frontpage sure would not be able to help you out on this.
Red Apple Media might be able to recommend a company as well - there are a few websites that come to mind for this type of application (mainly adult) and some products are available. I have not really been in that arena in a few years but a few adult message boards might be a good venue as well if you are needing this application right away
