I want to add a "help" hyperlink to application so that user can follow to get specific help for page (we can pass a unique reference marker to identify the target page).
The user should then be able to click on edit & using a WYSIWYG editor be able to edit.
I.e. I would like a wiki edit function/component/addon that allows users to maintain their own documentation pages.
Difficulty:
o) To run on IIS, preferabally open source
o) ideally with windows authentication
o) I have looked at full wikis but they seem to be overkill for the need & require system admin. They can be too helpfull to the user allowing them to get lost in the documentation not relevant to current use.
o) WYSIWYG editor
o) would be nice to have the source in c# .net
o) history of edits is important
To see what I had in mind, Have a look at http://demo.splendidcrm.co
Then click on contacts tab, and then the help wiki link

Since you're doing most of your work in Windows, you might want to take a look at DotNetNuke:
Default.as px?tabid=8 48
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/
It has a wiki component and supports ActiveX controls to provide such things as WYSIWYG editing.
