Browse All TopicsHi there,
I have a huge directory (10,000) of pictures from a car forum where users have used an image uploading script so I can host images for them on my site. All images are uploaded and placed in to one directory.
I would like to have an archive of these pictures on a webpage, I could do this very simply by creating an HTML page with thumbnails and links but I also want it to be self updating - I assume I will need to create a database for this (mySQL?)
I am a complete novice at this and I wonder if you can help.
Thanks
Jack

You can use PHP to just read the files in the directory (as long as you can give PHP the permissions to read from the folder.
