The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. MySQL Query in PHP failing to INSERT. SELECT workings fine. INSERT SQL checked.

I am trying to insert into a MYSQL table suing PHP but it fails every time.
If I echo the query string and submit it through MySQL console or PHPadmin it inserts fine so i'm unsure why it wont work. Also if i change the PHP query to a select query it works fine and the existing records are retrieved.  I have set the root privelidges to 'ALL PRIVELIGES'

Here is the code i am using:

INSERT INTO testdb.review (comment) VALUES ('user input here') could not insert record:

If I could get some help on where to look and how i might add to my code to improve the error message that would be a great help. I'm very new to PHP/MYSQL so please speak slowly!
