How to install GD Library for PHP

Hi all.

I have recently installed Achievo - open source project management software. I am running on WAMP 5_1_0.

The problem I am having is that it is not displaying graphs.
I think it is becuase I need to install the GD library.

I know very little about all this stuff.
Can some tell me how to install this in steps - from the download to the activation?
