IMAP connectiong to exchange server 2007 php timeout

Hello experts.
I have learned from my last post that I need to be more clearly what the problem is, so I will give it a try.

I have a laptop with wamp server 2.0C with mysql and php.
 - Apache 2.2.8
 - MySQL 5.0.51b
 - PHP 5.2.6

Running windows xp sp3 as operating system.

I am tryint to extracht mails from an exchange server 2007, using IMAP function in php.
http://se.php.net/imap. It worked fine yester day and now it seems to get stuck and getting an timeout

The code below describes the connection action and properties. I have talked to the person who is using the server and he says the port and the service . I also  got a tip from him to try out IMAP with this software: ActiveXperts Network Monitor

When I type the adress, port number 143 and service name IMAP4 it connects and says successful.

I am later transfering the same connection values to the phpscript and it just gets stucks, it keeps loading for until the timeout action says stop. The default timeout for IMAP I think its 30sec, that what it says in the error message.
