asp charset issue

hey folks

i am getting a strange error on the following code, below.

the data (from a vbulletin installation) is coming from a MySQL database.
i added the line response.Charset("ISO-8859-8")
because the data is coming out as question marks instead of hebrew text.
so i added the response.Charset("ISO-8859-8") and now i get a weird error on that line: Object not a collection: 'Charset'

any ideas???
