my dear exchange experts...
long story short....but i had to re-install Exchange 2003. i have everything setup correctly and i am using local SSL certificate. all is good. i also have port 443 open on my firewall.
OWA was working superbly with SSL before the crash and rebuild.
all is well now....but when I try to access my mail as
https://owa.domainname.com/exchange.....i get a popup requesting username and password.
1. this never used to be a popup before. i used to get a nice OWA screen to logon
2. when i enter my credentials, it fails to authenticate and does not let me login to my mail server.
all works great internally. i have not changed anything on the DNS side from my registrar's end. Hence, all those settings are still the same.
I am not sure what difference i have created now than before. Why OWA gives me popup instead of embedded OWA logon screen. Why does it not authenticate anymore....As far as I know...I have the same setup but as far as Microsoft is concerned, it is apparently not. LOL
BTW: I have separate box for Exchange and Mail Relay server. Firewall to Mail Relay server to Exchange.
So help me out here....guys...
