SSI not working on WAMP virtual host

Asked by bigmoxy in Server Side Includes (SSI), PHP Scripting Language

I have a virtual host setup on my local WAMP server. It's a pretty vanilla installation other than the listen port is 8080. I access the vhost by local.mydomain.com:8080. The vhost is a copy of a live web site and it contains many include ('dir/file.php') statements. However none of the includes resolve.

I would greatly appreciate any insight and recommendations!!
