Been 'into' computers for over15 years. Not a specialist in anything, just play with anything computer related.  Favorite computers? My old Commodore 64, ;-) Oh the joy of loading from 5.25 floppy disks. Compared to cassette it was a god send. Can't forget  my Amiga 2000 with XT Bridgeboard either.  It had a whole meg of RAM & 2 * 3.5 disk AND a 40 GIG hard disk <edit - Am I insane? It was 40meg>.

favorite command - Load "scramble" ,8 ,1

Despite an interest in computers I am no expert.  I have used EE in the past for resolutions to issues but am now trying to assist other who get stuck. I have found that despite being unable to resolve most issues here I am learning so much just by reading other posts and being able to mix in the Company of people like 'Sembee' & 'The Captain'.  There is no other place I know where one can exchange ideas with IT Pros of their level of experiance.

On the 7/9/06 my wife gave birth to a beautiful Amiga 500. I mean baby boy.  He's so special to us both.  I am gonna get him into computers soon as possible so he can become an expert :-)  I'll try and steer him towards programming rather than what I did growing up . . . . Load "scramble",8,1 or loading Interceptor from 3.5 on the Amiga.  Oh the memories.

Does anyone remember Xcopy on the Amiga? How I loved xcopy, funny when you had to do a nibble copy on tough material. I wish I had a time machine.  Amiga 2000 with twin drives running xcopy on nibble mode. LOL I'd be straight back there to relive the ol' days.  I am so sad I tried running xcopy inder UAE but nibble copy woudln't work for some reason!!!! Oh well, back to work.
