Recently I have noticed a trend of poor grades, rude askers and a general lack of good manners with many of the "askers" on the site. I find this unacceptable - I am a professional, and a volunteer - I help people because I enjoy doing so. If you don't have the good grace to be polite, don't expect my assistance.
A consequence of this is that I have stopped answering questions. I do still keep an eye out, though - primarily for problems that I find interesting, but especially for bad advice. If I see a poor answer posted, or an answer that clearly creates risk for a user (e.g. truncate the log!) I will step in to assist.
Remember, for your membership you are getting access to my expertise as a volunteer - be polite, or my blacklist will simply get longer.
