I was "K" because few wanted to pronounce my name. In 1982 I was married and someone said "Now there's two 'K's". Somehow "2K" stuck to me long before many of the programs were written with lack of regard to four digit years.

You 79R out there need only the time of service in 79R slot to know what this means.
