I am 20 years old. I have been programming since I was around 8 years old. I started off on the Commodore64, but left that rather early on to learn ST-BASIC for the Atari ST as that was a far more popular platform at the time. I eventually went on to learn a programming language called STOS, and became a highly skilled programmer in that language. I wrote several quality games in STOS as well as many other programs. When I was around 13 years old, I began programming for the PC. I started off creating simple DOS applications in Quick BASIC but then went on to creating Windows applications in a language known as Clarion. I also had a go at a few other languages, but never really persued any of them further. I soon found Clarion to be a rather restricted language to program in with very little support around for it. It is for these reasons that  3 years ago, I began programming in Visual Basic. Although I really like VB as a language, Iam currently on a course studying java as it is a much more 'flexible' language. I am also studying Systems Engineering and Network Engineering as well as learning PHP in my free time.
