College professor turned tour guide; under the pseudonym "KittyTours," I maintain a series of websites with info about my hometown of Washington DC using Access, HTML, and ASP. I've had a number of formal courses in Access and database design in general but I have to admit I acquired my knowledge of HTML and ASP by the time-honored method "learning by plagiarism."
October 2004 update: Kitty's Great Calendar Project is finished. We'll probably continue to tinker with the automation of some of the non-Excel bits, but The Kid now actually enjoys producing the six-month calendar.
I put a description of the Great Calendar Project, along with all the code, in one of my websites:
www.kittytours.org/calendarproject/Thanks to everyone at EE!
January 2005 update: I was truly delighted when I found that the Great Calendar Project and its companion website (see URL above) tied for first place as EE's Question of the Year 2004. I suspect I'll never be an Expert at solutions but it's kind of nice to know I'm an expert questioner!
Thanks again for all the help.
