Member Profile:
I have more than 20 years of experiences in application development, mostly in client-server mode.  I started with Basic then quickly move to Clipper (dBase compiler) and used it for many years.

I started developping MS Access applications back with version 1.0 of this product and seen it evolved over its current version.  I also have experiences with MS Visual Basic, and .Net C# and general MS Office application development (Excel, Word).

I am currently MS SQL Server DBA and still continue to used MS Access on a daily basis.

I also taught programming for College students.  I believe that application programming should start with good design that promote reusability and long term maintenability.  I am a fervent defender of OO pinciples, where it make sense, which is _not_ everywhere.  I am also writing programming tools and libraries to make my life easier.

I developed applications in many business domains:
Vehicule, building and Airplaine preventive/corrective maintenance
    Stock management
    Project costings
    Human Resources
    etc.

I am available for contract work.  You can send me emails regarding potential contracts :

I *will not* answer generic questions via this email.  EE is a great place to have your questions answered and has become a big knowledge base of good solutions over time .  I will continue to scan and participate in EE.
