I came to EE last year with an Excel format/sort problem that had me stumped, and the amount of insightful solutions amazed me, so now I'm hooked...

I try to solve my problems myself first before I ask here, but this is a great resource, and much better than any knowledge base or static FAQ.

I am on career number four...Originally a trained chef, then restaurant manager/owner, labor management software liason for resorts, hotels and casinoes, and now co-owner of a surgical weight loss company.  And since I'm the only one who has had ANY IT experience...anything that has wires or cables sticking out of immediately comes under my scope of responsibility.

So, I don't have any certifications or anything like that...but I can set up, schedule and manage a multi-table gaming pit, staff and run a hotel, design a menu, and cook up the best tastin grub you'd ever want.  But my IT skills are somewhat "behind the curve" (I've just been so busy!) so, I appreciate eveyone here who gives of their time and brainpower to help all us techno-goons.
